NYFW is over, but our favorite launches are just beginning.
In a whirlwind month of fashion, fragrance, and beauty, one brand in particular, made waves.
YSL Beauté launched their newest fragrance, Libre, with the support of none other than the divine Dua Lipa as the face of the striking, bold campaign.
The luxe-Parisian brand hosted an exclusive party in New York City to celebrate the new Eau de Parfum, which translates to “free”.
Hosted by Dua Lipa herself, the party took place at the Classic Car Club Manhattan, whose large venue was fit for the gathering of socialites, models, and celebrities alike.
Lipa's cover of the traditional Rolling Stones song, “I Am Free”, echoed throughout a crowded room as multiple activations took place.
Upon entrance, a large black canvas that read “I AM FREE TO…” offered jumbo chalk markers, where attendees were able to complete the sentence to their liking.
Names like Elsa Hosk (pictured below), Zara Larsson, Jameela Jamil, and Adam Rippon, Diplo, and Hamila Aden (pictured above) lingered the crowded room, turning heads.
The bottle itself, turned heads as well. A chic glass component with a brilliant gold “YSL” plaque and gold chain collar evoked many “ooohs” and “aaahs” with a master collection display.
A just-for-fun photo booth and life sized “LIBRE” display left guests with multiple polaroid moments. Guests were also invited to create their own ten second Libre ad, giving all in attendance their paparazzi moment.
Libre's sillage lingered the room, a sexy floral with notes of Orange Blossom and Lavender, while guests, including myself, sipped on lavender lemonades and indulged in guilt-free Squish Marshmallows.
The genderless scent is available now on yslbeauty.com, as well as all YSL Beauté retailers, and we say run - don't walk to get this stunning new parfum.
