CEST PRUNE: How did you first get into acting?
JPK: In middle school. I was in a play and I loved every aspect of it and drama class was everything to me.
CEST PRUNE: When did you realize you wanted acting to be your career?
JPK: Very early. I was a kid.
CEST PRUNE: Walk us through a typical audition process.
JPK: It can be pretty clinical actually. You say your name and height and then you read the scene with whoever is there to read with you. You almost never get to read with another actor early in the process so that’s challenging.
CEST PRUNE: Fans currently watch you on The Flash. Talk to us about your character, Nora West-Allen.
JPK: She’s great. She’s a bubbly, positive person who just wants to impress her father. But she’s impulsive and doesn’t think things through and that gets her into a lot of trouble.
CEST PRUNE: How do you relate to Nora?
JPK: Her genuine kindness.
CEST PRUNE:Fan’s are still wondering, will we see the return of Nora in season six?
JPK: I can’t say!
CEST PRUNE: What has this role taught you?
JPK: That I should have watched more episodes of The Flash before I stated the role. Those story lines are complicated.
CEST PRUNE:Favorite snack?
JPK: Right now it’s Beanfields Sea Salt Chips.
CEST PRUNE: Favorite song to belt out in the car?
JPK: Awful by Hole
CEST PRUNE: Where can we follow you on socials?
