Melissa's Pick: My favorite highlighter at the moment has to be Flesh's Ripe Glisten Drops. Formulated with mica pearls, this travel-friendly highlighter is totally customizable. Apply a small amount for a subtle glow, but you or layer for a more intense highlight.

Melissa's Pick: Physicians Formula Butter Highlighter is affordable, with results as fabulous as the big brands. The cream-to-powder formula gives an airbrushed finish on the skin and gives the face a luxurious look.

Melissa's Pick: Kevyn Aucoin Glass Glow Face Liquid Highlighter in Prism Rose is a favorite for a number of reasons. It’s one of the few face glosses that is also soothing and hydrating. It will even out any redness, slightly inflamed areas, and doubles as a body glow.

Melissa's Pick: The A-Line Liquid Highlighter from Giorgio Armani is ideal if you want a highlight that is super light and subtle. Definitely reach for this when you want to rock a true “no makeup look.”

Melissa's Pick: Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter by Marc Jacobs is highly recommended if you’re looking for something that’s more concentrated, but not glittery - which can often be tough to find. The coconut water has nourishing qualities and will leave your skin feeling soft and fresh.

Melissa's Pick: Hands down, my favorite powder formula for a highlighter is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter. Champagne Pop is a classic from Becca for a reason, it works perfectly with so many different skin tones. It’s very buildable and has a creamy texture that doesn’t cake.
